Scottish Whisky Tasting in San Diego (Limited to 6 guests)
About this Event
I will be hosting four Scotch tastings on a rooftop in beautiful Bankers Hill.
While enjoying some rare and delicious Scotch, you can enjoy the breathtaking views of America's finest city.
You will be provided with a dram of whisky from each of Scotland's six whisky regions (yes I include Campbeltown).
Lowlands, Speyside, Highlands, Campbeltown, Islands and Islay.
I will be choosing whiskies that are both delicious and often rare. Bottles you are unlikely to find in most bars.
And, of course, no Scottish evening would be complete without food. Alongside the whisky, I’ll be serving a selection of Scottish cheeses, chutneys, smoked salmon and other Scottish bites, including, naturally, haggis.
A little about your host: I’m originally from the Scottish Highlands. Although I’m now fortunate enough to call San Diego home, I’ve certainly kept my love of Scottish whisky, food and culture with me.
This is intended to be a relaxed, social tasting rather than a formal whisky class. Whether you already love Scotch or simply want to discover more about it, you’ll get the chance to taste some excellent whisky, enjoy Scottish food and take in one of the best views in the city.
Only six guests are invited to each tasting, keeping the evening intimate and giving everyone plenty of opportunity to taste, talk and enjoy themselves.
