About the event

Join fellow trust fundraisers for a relaxed, practical peer‑support session hosted by the CIOF Scottish Trusts SIG. We’ll bring people together to share challenges, swap ideas, and learn from each other in a friendly, supportive space.

You’ll take part in round‑table discussions shaped entirely by the questions submitted by attendees — so the topics really do come from you.

How it works

When you sign up, you’ll be invited to submit a question you’d like to explore. We’ll build the discussion tables around these questions, and you can choose whichever table fits your interests on the day.

Each table is facilitated by a member of the CIOF Scottish Trusts SIG to help keep conversations focused, inclusive, and genuinely useful.

We’ll finish with informal networking — a chance to meet others who understand the ups and downs of trust fundraising.

Ideas for questions you could bring

• Collaborating on bids — Working with other charities on joint applications
• Standing out — Making your applications shine in a competitive landscape
• Finding new trusts — Discovering smaller or lesser‑known funders
• Packaging core costs — Turning core funding needs into funder‑friendly projects

• Invitation‑only funders — Getting on the radar of closed or invitation‑only trusts
