Scottish Junior Forester Award, Callender Woods, Larbert

This is a fully Outdoors woodland training day designed to familiraise your with the Scottish Junior Forester Award and to give you the skills and confidence you need to run it with your own groups.

The award consists of 6 elements and we'll look at each element of the award and give you some ideas of how you could deliver it for different age groups. Further information about the award can be found here: Scottish-Junior-Forester-Award-Leader-Handbook-2024-2025-edition.pdf

Although the venue is down as Callender Woods, we may use a different site (nr Slamanan). We'll let you know ASAP which one it is and give full details directions.

Make sure you come dressed for the weather, with plenty of layers and waterproofs. We'll provide tea, coffee and biscuits, but please bring a packed lunch with you. Bring work gloves, if you have them and a notebook and pencil and camera / phone.
