Scottish Games Training Day & Judges Clinic 2026

Welcome back to the 5th annual ETC Training Day!
We are once again offering training for anybody looking to try out the Scottish Highland Games or improve their throwing skills. This will also be our second year offering the judges clinic for anyone who wants to become a certified highland games judge. As always, all profits from this event will benefit the Shenendehowa Track & Field Booster Club to support junior throwers in our community.
What's new this year?
We are now offering both "beginner" and "intermediate" groups in the athlete clinic so seasoned throwers can elevate their game with experienced coaches. Also the afternoon "mock competition" will now be an actual scored contest! That's right, if you show up in a kilt your scores will be entered and you get to try for some new high scores for the season. We will still run a 6-event game featuring open stone, light weight for distance, light hammer, caber toss, sheaf, and weight over bar.
