Aberdeen Backgammon Club is delighted to host the 2024 Scottish Backgammon Open at the Holiday Inn in Westhill, sponsored by Yilmaz Snack Bar.The main tournament will be held on Sat 24th & Sun 25th May with an optional warm up event on the Friday evening. Grand Master Tim Cross will also give a talk on Sunday at 9.30-10.30am on when to leave an advanced anchor.

⏱️ SCHEDULE / FORMAT
Friday - Warm up KO - registration from 7pm, starts 7:30pm
Saturday - registration 10am, starts 10:30am. Swiss format; 5 x 7-point matches. Optional doubles knockout tournament in the evening.
Sunday - registration 10am, starts 10:30am. Top 16, Consolation and Last Chance KOs
📋 REGISTRATION
There are 64 spaces for entrants.
The Entry Fee is £95 per person. £55 of the Entry Fee makes up prize money. Registration is £40 and includes lunch on Sat/Sun and morning coffee.
🛌 ACCOMODATION
