Join us for Austin singer-songwriter Scott Strickland, as he begins his next tour. He’ll be playing with Jacob Furr in Galveston and Dallas, and then come to our house for a solo show on April 5.Doors at 6, music at 7, BYOB. We'll have some food, you're welcome to bring potluck dishes.
After the show, you're welcome to stay for a song circle, so bring your guitars or other instruments.
Hailing from Houston, with deep roots in Nacogdoches, Scott's journey from filmmaker to full-time musician is a testament to resilience, passion, and the transformative power of creativity. Now based in Austin, he has become one of the city's most dynamic performers, crafting a unique blend of rock, pop, and folk with a soulful edge.
His debut album, highlighted by the critically acclaimed track "LA.", earned high praise, with the Austin-American Statesman declaring it "the best video and song to come out of Austin" in 2022.
