Newly signed to Rise AboveRecords/Popclaw Records (Uncle Acid,
Ghost, Electric Wizard), Scott Hepple
and The Sun Band are a Psychedelic
Garage Rock band from Newcastle, UK.
In the last 12 months, the band have
toured the UK and Europe extensively in
support of two self-released albums, also
playing alongside LOVE, Acid Mothers
Temple, Hooveriii and GIFT. They played
their first London headline show at Third
Man Records in 2023 and has had
support shown by Rough Trade and BBC
Radio 6 since their forming earlier that
year.
They recently released 7" single 'Smoke
and Frown' on August 23rd, their first
release under the cult record label, and
more new music is expected in 2025.

The Unsung are a four piece formed in Carlisle in 2014, they combine a new wave tinged rhythm section, melodic guitar and emotive words and vocals bound together with a touch of melancholy and a sprinkling of hopefulness. “classy yet twisted alternative pop/rock” (Christian Moss, 2022).
