The Seward Community Library & Museum invites you to cozy up with us for our Saturday Matinee Screenings! Join us every Saturday afternoon at 2pm to enjoy a great movie and free snacks.Here’s what we’re showing in November...
November 1st – Coco (PG)
In celebration of Día de los Muertos, we’re starting the month with Coco! Follow young Miguel as he embarks on a vibrant journey through the Land of the Dead to uncover his family’s history and the true meaning of remembrance.
November 8th – Max (PG)
In honor of Veterans Day, we’ll be showing Max. This family-friendly drama follows a heroic military dog who returns home after serving in Afghanistan. Together, Max and his handler’s family must learn to heal and trust again.
November 15th – Alaskan Nets (NR)
In recognition of Indigenous Peoples’ Month, join us for Alaskan nets. A powerful and inspiring documentary following two Alaska Native boys as they lead their small island community’s high school basketball team to their first state championship in over thirty years.
November 22nd – A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving (G)
Just in time for Thanksgiving, enjoy this timeless holiday classic with the whole family! Join Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the Peanuts gang for an unexpected but heartfelt Thanksgiving celebration.
November 29th – Remember the Titans (PG)
To celebrate National Football Month, we’re closing out November with this true story of teamwork and unity. Remember the Titans follows a newly integrated high school football team in 1970s Virginia as they learn to overcome prejudice and play as one.
All movies are free to attend and include complimentary snacks. We can’t wait to see you at the library!
