It's baaaaack!!! Join in on NIGHT SKY JOURNEY II as we explore International Observe the Moon Night and space science with fun activities at the Brunner Farmhouse and Gardens!
Take a peek through big telescopes at the twilight and night skies to see the moon, planets, and stars and much more...
- Explore the MOBILE EARTH + SPACE OBSERVATORY (MESO), the “science center on wheels” with hands-on educational and research activities (6:30-8:30 p.m. - arrive early!)
- Look through huge telescopes and learn all about the night sky with Standley Lake Stargazing
- Visit the Majestic View Nature Center's interactive educational booth
- Watch a presentation and participate in a Q&A from Space Science industry leader, Rhonda Stevenson - President/CEO of: ABOVE Space, Tau Zero Foundation, Space Mining and Resources Coalition, and Blue Elysium Capital Group
- Talk to local artists as they paint the twilight sky and learn plein air paintings techniques
- Watch an artist demo how to create planets on canvas with only spray paint
- Enter to win out-of-this world door prizes
- Watch science experiments and marvel at the show
- Make paper rockets, foil comets, and much more!
