Science of Beer!

Join us for a wonderful event combining science and philanthropy. Impress your friends with fun scientific facts about Beer while supporting Black Girls Do Science, a 501c3 whose mission is to introduce underrepresented 4th-8th grade students to S.T.E.A.M by bringing their programming here to Detroit! You'll get to go on a fun tour of the brewing facilities, engage in a science talk with a science beer flight, and a raffle! Tell your friends and enjoy delicious beer and giving back!

Info: In groups of 15, you’ll go on a tour of Florian East’s brewery process with the Florian beer experts!

Info: Black Girls Do Science will lead a fun, tasty talk on the history, culture and science behind beer. Paired with a science flight to highlight each of the science topics: biology, chemistry and physics!
