“Science Friday” Live with Ira Flatow

Join “Science Friday” host Ira Flatow for an evening of botany and conservation, from orchids to cacti and mosses to bananas. In this special event, Ira talks with botanist Lúcia Lohmann, President and Director of the Missouri Botanical Garden, about the many ways plants connect to our lives, and the importance of researching and conserving them.
Plus, St. Louis Public Radio’s Kate Grumke hosts a conversation about Ira's history, the backstory of how Science Friday came to be and Science Friday's 35th year on the air!
