Science Fiction Author Michael Nayak | SENTIENT

Author Michael Nayak will be speaking at Bards Alley Bookshop in Vienna, VA to discuss the newest addition to his Plague Wars series SENTIENT. Extinction Horizon meets Contagion in this sci-fi thriller series, where the biological threat has escaped the South Pole and is now wreaking havoc upon Antarctica.

SENTIENT is a follow-up to Nayak's 2025 release SYMBIOTE which tracks a group of American researchers at their base in Antarctica. A group of Chinese scientists arrive at the base in search of help. They have abandoned their base and in their truck is a horrifying sight – a mysteriously murdered teammate. Within seventy-two hours, thirteen of the South Pole Station crew lie dead in the snow.

Bards Alley will be selling copies of both books during the event and a book signing will follow Nayak's talk. This event is free to attend.
