Science by the Shore is a free public outreach program featuring hands-on marine biology experiences where you can explore what lives in our local waters from microscopic plankton to the ecosystems that support the larger marine life we all love.
What you can experience:
🔬 View the tiny world of plankton under the microscope
🐚 Observe local marine life
🌱 Learn about marine ecosystems
🐟 Get hands on with small-based marine science equipment
🐬 Our sea creature feature are Seahorses this month!
This program was created to bridge the gap between marine education and real world experiences making marine biology accessible, interactive, and fun for all ages.
