Science Book Club: The Backyard Bird Chronicles + Bird Paintings

Join the Science Book Club meeting on Thursday, August 13 at 6:30pm in the Expeditions Room at the Sternberg Museum.
Designed with a "Night at the Museum" feel, there will be an hour of book discussion paired with 30 minutes of interactive learning to bring help the book to life. Each month, an expert from FHSU will use artifacts from the Sternberg Museum or information from their research to reveal science and history that connect to that month's book.

Interactive Learning = Bird Paintings
Lead = Dr. Kim Perez
Future Science Book Club Dates:
- September 10 = The Rise and Reign of the Mammals (led by Dr. Amanda Peng)
- October 8 = Who Hid the Stars? (led by Dean Stramel)
- November 12 = Braiding Sweetgrass (led by Dr. Lorelei Patrick)
- December 10 = I Contain Multitudes (led by Dr. Eric Gillock)
