Sci-Fi Soup: An Evening of Bonfires, B-Movies & Garden Magic 🎃🛸
Join Growing South Milwaukee and The M.A.R.M. Farm on Saturday, October 24th from 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM at the Community Garden (1308 Milwaukee Avenue) for a cozy, spooky autumn evening under the stars!
Kick off the afternoon with our vendor market, pumpkin decorating, spooky mini maze, and a live composting demo with Ellen Colby. As twilight falls, gather around the bonfire hearth for our chili fundraiser, hot cider, s'mores, and an open mic, then stroll through our illuminated DIY Garden Gravestone Competition! To top off the night, bring your camp chairs and blankets for an outdoor screening of Edward D. Wood Jr.'s cult classic, Plan 9 from Outer Space.
🎟️ Admission: Free & family-friendly!
🧥 Community Giveback: We are collecting blankets for South Milwaukee Human Concerns
🎃 the Gravestone Contest: Show off your creativity with a 4'x4' plot entry! Register at growingsm.org/scifisoup.
