Friday, April 10th - 7pm - Doors at 6pm - (Action Fest)
We ease into things on Friday night with a special 35mm screening of the 1987 cult classic Masters Of The Universe. Considered a failure upon its initial release, it has since grown a significant cult following over time. The first live action He-man movie retains a legacy today as they are preparing to release a reboot this year. A perfect time to revisit the original. This will be followed by a rare, secret 35mm film that is so secret, even we don't know what it is! Nor will we until April 10th! How exciting!

Saturday is our marathon session!
Saturday, April 11th - 11am - 3:30pm - (Day Pass)
Kicking things off we have a short 35mm Looney Tunes cartoon reel, to be followed by 3 classic Godzilla movies in a row, all on 35MM! Always popular, never out of vogue, Godzilla is also enjoying another resurgence with the recent Godzilla: Minus One and upcoming Minus Zero films. That should stoke your interest in seeing how Godzilla used to kick butt, back in the day!
We will also have Mike Ross available - Godzilla enthusiastic/expert who will be thrilled to tell you more about the individual films!

Saturday, April 11th - 6pm to 9:30pm - (Night Pass)
Saturday night things really start to get far out! A beautiful looking 35mm print of Jason And The Argonauts (1963) will take us on a faraway journey where we meet fantastic creatures and epic battles. This was a groundbreaking film when it came out, and it is still very exciting and impressive today. Do not miss this opportunity!
Project Moonbase will take us back to 1953 for a sci-fi space adventure, written by the well-known author Robert Heinlein. This one has a slightly feminist edge for its time, showing women in positions of power and authority.
Closing out the night with one of the most respected and revered sci-fi movies ever made, The Day The Earth Stood Still is an undeniable masterpiece! Directed by the maestro Robert Wise in 1951, this film ponders a scenario where aliens come to Earth in peace and wisdom, and how humans react to this. It shows the range and depth of our national paranoia that was in full swing during this Cold War era and questions our ability to live in peace as a race. Strong, impactful stuff!
