Experience a piece of Munich’s Oktoberfest right here in Knoxville
Schulz Bräu is proud to host our 11th annual German Oktoberfest, and we're kicking things off just like they do in Germany. We follow Munich time, which means when the first keg is tapped at 12:00 PM in Munich, it’s 6:00 AM here in Knoxville. That’s when we pour our very first liter of Oktoberfest beer.
We’ll stream the live tapping ceremony from Munich on all TVs and across the Biergarten jumbotrons, so you can celebrate alongside the official opening moment.
Doors open exclusively to ticket holders at 5:00 AM. The Biergarten opens to the general public at 9:00 AM.
- Early admission to the Biergarten
- One full liter of Oktoberfest beer, poured from our imported, hand-crafted wooden barrels
- A light Bavarian breakfast, with your choice of Kaiserschmarrn or Weißwurst & pretzel
- Live polka music from the Knoxville Polka Kings
- A special-edition Schulz Bräu Oktoberfest Liter Stein to take home
This event uses community-style seating, just like in Munich. There are no reserved seats, and you’ll want to arrive early to sit with your group. Most seating is open air, and covered seating is not guaranteed, so please dress accordingly and plan ahead.

Dirndls and Lederhosen are encouraged if you want to dress the part and add to the fun. Whether you’re a die-hard Oktoberfest fan or just want to experience something special with friends, this is a one-of-a-kind way to kick off the season.

Doors Open!
Info: Have your tickets ready to scan! Doors open at 5AM exclusively for ticket holders. Once you enter, show your ticket to receive the appropriate passes & tokens for your brunch and stein. The barrel-tapping doesn't occur until 6AM, so take this time to grab a free coffee, scout out your spot in the Biergarten, and grab your breakfast option.

Barrel-Tapping
Info: Shortly before 6:00 AM, we'll officially welcome everyone to our 11th Annual Oktoberfest before joining Munich for the countdown to the barrel tapping! Once the first beer is poured, we don't stop until everyone has received their pour! Hand your stein ticket over to one of the lovely bartenders, and they'll fill 'em up!

Info: It's stein-hoisting time! 10-15 men and women are welcome to sign up for the Masskrugstemmen. Sign-ups are available in person shortly before the start of the contest.

Info: The Barrel-Tapping Celebrations have officially come to a close! Doors now open to the public so call in any buddies that missed out on getting a ticket and enjoy the Oktoberfest atmosphere a little longer!
