Franz Schubert’s "Tragic" Symphony marks a bold turning point, where the 19-year-old composer first channels the dramatic intensity of Beethoven into his own lyrical and expansive voice.It is a journey of high-stakes emotion, leading the listener from the depths of C minor into a finale of radiant, triumphant light.
Special guest performers include members of the Rome Youth Symphony Orchestra, together with winners from the RSO's Young Artist Competition:

· Lauren Sweat, Berry College; Runner-up, Vocal Division
