School of Rock Elmhurst is partnering with Classic Cinemas York XQ to present the 2003 classic "School of Rock." The music-centric comedy film features Dewey Finn (played by Jack Black), pretending to be a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. He discovers his students' musical talents and secretly forms them into a rock band to compete in a Battle of the Bands competition.
