School of Rock 2026

Calling all rockstars! Join us in person for an unforgettable experience where music, fun, and good vibes collide. On Saturday, Nov. 14, we will be at the Tebala Event Center in Rockford, IL raising funds for the Golden Apple Foundation of Rockford. Golden Apple celebrates and recognizes amazing teachers each year by bestowing the Golden Apple award upon the most deserving teachers in our area. Golden Apple also awards classroom grants to fund programs that otherwise would go unfunded. Whether it’s a robotics club to support STEM education, or providing special education classrooms tablets to allow non-verbal children to communicate-Golden Apple is there to fund the needs of our children in the classrooms! They also award one current educator a tuition-free scholarship to Rockford University to earn a first master's degree in education.

As far as the evening goes, we’ll have our great caterer Greenfire back for an amazing dinner. Our theme for the night will be school of rock, so we’re encouraging our guests to dress up like a rock star or show your support of your favorite band. We’ll have 80’s hair band Sunset Strip playing live and instead of twisting again this year, we will be letting our guests do the entertaining for a bit with a lip sync contest! We always try to bring the fun at these events, and we intend that this year will be no different.

All donations and sponsorships are paid directly to the nonprofit, so your organization is able to take advantage of any tax benefits available.
