Please join us for the launch of the School of International Studies and Languages! This has taken years of strategic planning and brings together several departments, including the Center for International Studies, Ohio University Linguistics Department, Ohio University Dept. of Modern Languages, and the Ohio Program of Intensive English (OPIE).
We have planned several events for the launch, including a Keynote Address by Provost Ariel Armony (of Babson College), a reception at Jackie O's Brewery, a Global Tea Gathering, Thai Fruit Carving, Alumni Lunch, Halal Cooking Demonstration, Dances of the World class (Salsa, Chinese folk dance, and Viennese Waltz), and an Indian dinner at the newly-renovated Athens Armory! Please register by Monday, September 15.
