In this kids session your child/ren will use the slab method to build a mug and then decorate it in any style they choose.
We will have two experienced potters facilitating the session and guiding your child/ren through the creative process. The emphasis will be on fun and creativity!
Included costs:
The price includes everything needed to make, fire and glaze one finished mug per child.
Please bring:
Your child/ren may want to wear clothes they don't mind getting dirty, potting is a lot of fun and a little messy!
Drop off and Pick up:
You can drop off your child/ren between 9.45am and 10am. Potting will start at 10am sharp. You can pick up your child/ren between 12noon and 12.15pm. Parents are welcome to stay with their child/ren for the session too.
Collection of finished pieces:
It will take 3 weeks for us to bisque fire the pieces, glaze them with a durable shiny finish, and then high-fire them to seal them. All creations can be collected after 3 weeks time, within the hours of 9.30am - 4pm Monday to Friday and 10am - 1pm Saturdays.
$42 per participant
