Each year, junior ladies from area high schools compete for over $12,000 in college scholarships and for the title of Azalea Festival Princess! Judging is based on a private interview with judges, evening gown competition, and on-stage presentation.
The Princess is the recipient of the Beverly Anna Jurgensen Scholarship Award, named after the beloved Past President of the North Carolina Azalea Festival! 🌺
Tickets will go on sale in the Festival Ticket Office in 2025.
