Join Treka Wenner from Fibers Of My Soul, along with Brandie Ferguson of Prairie Flower Farms for a fun evening making a felted sachet filled with soothing, lavender or luxurious rose petals. The subtle scent of your one-of-a-kind sachet will help promote a soothing atmosphere and freshen up any space without harsh chemicals. We will start by making a small piece of felt fabric using Merino wool, bamboo, and other fun fibers. Then, Brandie will guide you through stitching together your sachet using your custom felt and organza fabric. (the project example is a heart shape, but you can choose to cut yours in any shape desired.) You will then have the option of filling it with either dried lavender or rose petals to complete your sachet. This class is perfect for a fun girl's night out or a date night and is completely beginner-friendly, no previous felting or sewing experience is needed! Sign up today, space is limited! Cost: $35. Treka Wenner, aka Fibers Of My Soul, is a local fiber artist who creates handcrafted felt art using wool and other natural fibers. Her studio is in Guthrie, Oklahoma where she offers weekly open studio hours and frequently teaches felting classes as well as private lessons/parties. Brandie Ferguson, aka Prairie Flower Lady, is a certified herbalist and owner of Prairie Flower Farms handcrafts organic and wildcrafted bath, body, and home products. She has been practicing herbalism for 18 years and is taking advanced herbalism courses to further her education. She is currently pursuing becoming a registered herbalist with the American Herbalist Guild. She teaches educational classes and sells her line of products here at LoKals.
