Scenic One: “Jazz in the Vineyard”

The next Scenic One event exclusively for solo travelers with Scenic One Buffalo Niagara is "Jazz in the Vineyard" on July 13 at beautiful Casa Larga Vineyards in Fairport.
It will be co-hosted by Nora and Sue Smith, Scenic One coordinators.
It will start with a tour of the beautiful vineyards and an inside look at the wine-making process.
Casa Largo became New York's 21st winery when the late Andrew Colaruotolo and his late wife, Ann, in 1974 planted the first vines on a picturesque hill in Fairport, southeast of Rochester. They named it "Casa Larga” after his grandparents' vineyards in Italy.
The couple's three children today continue the family commitment to quality and tradition. The vineyards now span 40 acres and produce more than 50 vintages.
Following the tour, there will be a short Scenic One presentation, followed by a delicious lunch (your choice of filet or salmon) and a curated wine tasting.
After the meal, travelers will relax and enjoy the Latin sounds of El Rojo Jazz, a Rochester Latin jazz band, before heading home. The group specializes in classical guitar, flamenco, rumba and Brazilian bossa nova.
If travelers wish, they may purchase and enjoy wine by the glass during the performance.
A Scenic Excursions Buffalo Miagara motorcoach with Nora as host will pick up Buffalo travelers at Eastern Hills Mall in Williamsville at 9:15 a.m. They are scheduled to return there at 5 p.m.
Travelers in Henrietta will be picked up at 10:30 a.m. at 3450 Winton Place (and are scheduled to return there at 3:30).
Syracuse travelers (who will pay a reduced fee) will be responsible for their own transportation.
