SCBCFC 5km Team Walk Fundraising for Breast Cancer

We invite you to join the Sunshine Coast Breast Cancer (SCBCFC) team for the 2026 Sunshine Coast Marathon Festival.
People are invited to join the SCBCFC team and participate in the 5km walk on Sunday 2 August 2026 starting at 10.15am at Alexandra Headland. Participants in wheelchairs or parents with children in prams are welcome.
Joining the SCBCFC team in this event is about connection, community, support, visibility, breast health awareness and fundraising for a good cause close to our hearts (quite literally). We will be fundraising for Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA), the country’s leading breast cancer consumer organisation. Fundraising for BCNA means you’ll be helping to support all other Australians affected by breast cancer.
SCBCFC is a volunteer-run social support group for anyone with lived experience of breast cancer. Participants meet once a month for friendship, support and understanding, and connect with each other online through a private Facebook group.

1. Commit to participating in the SCBCFC team on Sunday 2 August 2026 at Alexandra Headland. Put it in your diary today.
2. Register online and pay your $50 entry fee (early bird discount applies).
3. Share your participation on your social media channels and start fundraising among family, friends and colleagues. After registering, you’ll receive an email with instructions on how people can contribute to your fundraising efforts.
4. Invite your loved ones to join you as a participant and support the Sunshine Coast breast cancer community. Anyone can join the SCBCFC team - they don’t need to have experienced breast cancer to join the team.
