Fairmount Memorial Association Annual “Scatter Day 2025” — A Free Event Offering Families a Place to Remember and Let GoEach year, thousands of families across the country are left wondering what to do with the cremated remains of a loved one. In fact, one in five Americans currently has cremated remains stored in their home—with no formal plans for scattering or memorialization.
To support these families, Fairmount Memorial Association invites the public to attend Scatter Day 2025, a free community event where individuals may legally and respectfully scatter the ashes of a loved one in a dedicated and permanent resting place.

Time: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Location: Fairmount Memorial Park / 5200 W Wellesley Ave. Spokane, WA. 99225
Cost: Free (Pre-registration required)
How to Participate:
Families interested in scattering ashes during this year’s event must pre-register. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
