Scars Behind The Mask

The goal of the “Scars Behind the Mask” event is to launch the  16 Days of Activism campaign as PAWA 254 kickstarts the second phase of the RITAI project that aims to strengthen the capacity and support system of Human Rights Defenders whose role is to advocate for the respect of human rights, report human rights violations and support victims. 

 The event aims to bring together survivors, human rights defenders (HRDs), and community members to raise awareness, honor the lives affected by GBV, and unite in a shared commitment to justice and healing. Through storytelling, guided discussions, and symbolic acts of remembrance, we seek to empower participants with resources, advocate for mental health and resilience, and reinforce the urgency of combating GBV.
