Register your local business, non profit, church, organization, club, or individual scarecrow exhibit TODAY- $25 fee. Late registration closes Wed. Sept. 30, 2026.

Proceeds benefit the Cullman Area Literacy Council. Event sponsored by Cullman Parks, Recreation, & Sports Tourism.

Scarecrow exhibits, signage, advertisements, banners, QR codes, etc. must be erected and displayed between Saturday, Sept. 26- Wednesday, Sept 30th (set up dates) along our designated exhibit areas of the WOODED WALKING PATH ONLY at Heritage Park. Scarecrow Trail will open and run from Oct. 1st- Oct. 31st. Therefore, all exhibits must be completed by the afternoon of Wednesday, Sept. 30th . Your Scarecrow Trail exhibit will help advertise your local business or organization within our community to local families and visitors during Oktoberfest. Therefore, use your scarecrow-building skills and authentic theme ideas to creativity boost your visibility!

Athough volunteers will help keep the Scarecrow Trail and displays as tidy as possible, please continue to help us by checking in on your exhibit throughout the month of October to ensure your signage and exhibits stay visible and presentable to our visitors/ your potential future clients & customers.

Please adhere to all Heritage Park rules and regulations.

You may begin removing your scarecrow exhibit as early as November 1st. You MUST have your scarecrow exhibit completely removed by Wednesday, November 4th. Anything left after the 4th will be disposed of.
