The first-ever Scappoose Public Library Authors Festival (SPLAF 2025) is less than two months away. Held on October 11, 2025, from 11am-3pm in the library’s meeting room, the festival will feature twelve local authors in a variety of genres.

Writers scheduled to appear include:

Ellen Jacobson (Cozy Mysteries and Rom-Coms)
Tamelia Aday (Christian Fiction)
Stacy Benjamin (Non-Fiction/Ag-Farming)
Sharon Hughson (Women’s fiction)
Rubina Wiedemer (Contemporary Fiction)
KD Jewell (YA Fiction)
Shaun Kennedy (Fantasy)
Buxton Manning (Adult Fiction)
Dawn Shipman (YA Fantasy)
Natalia Lee (Children’s Fiction)
S.K. Mueller (Children’s Fiction)
