Welcoming all to the Society for Creative Anachronism

Discover secrets of history combat arts crafts and culture from our seasoned members at the class tables. Learn and enjoy the dances of yore and indulge in a royal banquet. Delight in enchanting tales and melodies during the bardic competition and witness sword and shield clash in honorable combat in the tournaments. Participate in the noble duty of selecting the next Baron and Baroness of Unser Hafen through polling. All are welcome from newcomers eager to learn to seasoned members seeking fellowship and fun. Bring friends kin and good cheer for a day of history learning and revelry. Huzzah!

Age Restrictions and Supervision

Children under 18 are not permitted on site without a responsible adult, preferably a parent, accompanying them. Minors aged 12-17 must have their registration/waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian who is 18 or older. Anyone attending an SCA event must sign a waiver.

What should I wear?

We encourage a nod to pre-17th century attire, but full historical accuracy isn't required. Simple options like hoods, capes, tunics, or cotton/linen dresses and pants work well. Check the helpful video below. We also have a selection of garb available for borrowing upon request, while supplies last
