SAVVY Caregiver Program

📣 Attention Family Caregivers — Register Now! The Savvy Caregiver Program is a FREE evidence-based 6-week training course starting October 1st at ActivAge Sarasota.
Please note this program is Limited to 12 family caregivers of loved ones with dementia-related illnesses.
Family caregivers in Sarasota will soon have access to a powerful new resource. The Savvy Caregiver Program, a free, evidence-based 6-week training series, will be hosted at ActivAge Sarasota beginning October 1, 2025.
Designed specifically for caregivers of individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s, Lewy Body Dementia, and related conditions, this program equips participants with practical tools, strategies, and support to navigate the challenges of caregiving.
Over the course of six weekly sessions, caregivers will:
✅ Gain a deeper understanding of dementia progression
✅ Learn strategies for daily care and activity management
✅ Connect with family and community resources
✅ Develop self-care practices to avoid burnout
✅ Build confidence and mastery in their caregiving role

📅 Dates: October 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, and November 5
⏰ Time: 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
📍 Location: ActivAge Sarasota, 3801 Bee Ridge Rd, Suite 5, Sarasota, FL 34233 (Seashell Lagoon Room)
⚠️ Space is limited to just 12 participants, ensuring a small, supportive group environment.
Also, it's important to note that because each session builds on the last, participants are asked to attend all 6 weeks for the best experience.
