We invite you to Day 2 of our annual Summer Conference, a premier event dedicated to advancing species conservation and global conservation efforts. This second day of the conference will feature a completely unique programme, with an entirely different line-up of speakers, talks, and discussions from Day 1.
We are excited to welcome conservation professionals, students, early-career researchers, and passionate advocates for nature to Brixham Laboratory. Organised by Conservation Chat UK Ltd, this conference places the environment front and centre, bringing together people from across the conservation sector to share knowledge, inspire action, and celebrate the natural world.

Beyond the Goals: Conservation Priorities

Info: The UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set ambitious targets for protecting people and the planet by 2030. But how much progress has been made, and what challenges remain?
In this engaging talk, Stu will explore the current state of the Global Goals, with a particular focus on SDG 14: Life Below Water and SDG 15: Life on Land. Stu will examine successes, setbacks, and emerging conservation priorities, while considering the actions needed beyond the 2030 deadline to secure a sustainable future for nature and wildlife.
