The Good Shepherd Parish Plumpton warmly invites all parishioners and visitors to save the date for a special evening of prayer and devotion during the Jubilee Year of St Francis.On Thursday 4 June 2026 at 7:00pm, we will welcome the Relics of St Anthony of Padua for Holy Mass, followed by the veneration of the relics and a time of fellowship as a parish community. As part of our Jubilee Year of St Francis journey, this moment offers us a chance to renew our faith, deepen our sense of pilgrimage, and grow in holiness together.
St Anthony of Padua is a beloved Saint, known as a powerful preacher and miracle worker. A Franciscan friar, he dedicated his life to proclaiming the Gospel with clarity and compassion, and is especially invoked as the patron saint of lost things and those seeking guidance.
All are welcome to join us as we pray, reflect, and seek the intercession of St Anthony, drawing closer to Christ through this grace-filled encounter.
