About this Event

San Diego City College's Career Center and Pride Hub are proud to host the Inaugural LGBTQIA+ Educators Event, the newest addition to the college's affinity event series, joining past events honoring Latinx, Black, and AAPI educators and communities.

This event brings together LGBTQIA+ educators, staff, faculty, and allies from across the district and broader community for an evening of connection and dialogue. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with colleagues, hear from a panel of community and higher education leaders, and celebrate the launch of what we hope will become an annual tradition.

The evening will feature:

• Networking: casual mingling in a cocktail-style setting
• Panel discussion: voices from both the community and higher ed leaders sharing insight and experience
• Opening remarks: from college leadership

As the inaugural event in this series, it marks an important step in building visibility and community for LGBTQIA+ educators in San Diego.
