Join us for the 8th Annual San Diego Music Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, an unforgettable evening celebrating the people, stories and sounds that make San Diego one of the world's great music communities.

This year's class brings together reggae, punk, jazz, rock & roll, broadcasting, education and decades of San Diego music history.

Big Mountain – San Diego reggae legends whose music reached audiences around the world, including their international smash version of “Baby, I Love Your Way.”

Mojo Nixon – One of the wildest and most original personalities ever to emerge from San Diego music, Mojo built a fiercely independent career with his outrageous humor, irreverent songs and unmistakable voice.

The Penetrators – San Diego punk pioneers who helped establish the city's early punk scene and became an enduring part of its rock & roll history.

Dr. Oliver Luck – Veteran trombonist, musician and longtime educator whose remarkable life in music has touched generations of musicians and students.

Claudia Russell – Longtime KSDS Jazz 88.3 broadcaster and passionate champion of jazz and the San Diego music community.

Larry Grano – Accomplished drummer, singer and longtime San Diego music mainstay whose career has included Rockola, Steely Damned and decades of performing and recording.

Lady Dottie & The Diamonds – One of San Diego's most beloved live bands, combining blues, soul and rock & roll with the unforgettable presence and voice of the late Lady Dottie.

The Hall of Fame isn't just about remembering San Diego music — we bring it to the stage.

Expect special performances, collaborations and musical tributes throughout the evening as friends, fellow musicians and members of the San Diego music community help welcome the Class of 2026.

The San Diego Music Hall of Fame has also developed annual traditions that celebrate and empower members of the music community beyond the induction stage.

The Dawn Steel Award for Strength honors someone who has shown extraordinary strength in the face of adversity, while the Mark Goffeney Opportunity Scholarship, named for one of the Hall of Fame's inaugural inductees, gives a local child the opportunity to pursue music each year.
