Congregation Emanuel has established a proud tradition of giving back to those members who have given of themselves in a fashion that sets them apart, congregants who truly inspire us through their example to be better and to do more. This year our beloved Ellen Leifer is that congregant!
Ellen has taken on a leadership role in more ways than can be counted and is a valued member of the general and Jewish community at large. Certainly, her presence at our Shabbat services in her role as Gabbai is one that everyone treasures and holds dear. Without this sort of stewardship, Congregation Emanuel would
not be the vibrant community that it is today.
Please Save the Date of Saturday, November 15th at 7:00 pm at which time we will recognize longtime congregant and Gabbai, Ellen Leifer at our Fall Gala. The event will take place at Congregation Emanuel of the Hudson Valley and will feature cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and live music, as well as a live and silent auction.
