Transitions Mental Health Services is excited to host the 2nd Weinstein Scholarship Gala Event on September 25, 2025 and invites you to help us grow a social work scholarship fund for SAU MSW students. Gary was a true friend and colleague to many of you. His mentorship and support for new social workers in the field were truly inspiring. With his gift of supervision, he helped new MSW students obtain a quality clinical experience at Transitions. As a talented adjunct instructor, he taught policy and supervision courses to second-year students. As the CEO of Transitions MHS, he sought compassionate, gifted social workers and helped these fledgling professionals grow into committed individuals who serve our larger community. Gary experienced his own "helping hand" when pursuing his master’s degree in social work, so it seems befitting to honor his legacy in the field with a scholarship endowment for MSW students in need of a "friend."
