This in-person event is your chance to connect, chat, and discover insights from the book's themes: addiction, abuse, human trafficking & the journey of recovery she has been walking for the past 3.9 years. Over 80 original authentic pieces tell you her story through her own style of writing. Her pieces are raw, uncensored, & uncut. Angel tells her life story through poetry & prose that will bring tears to your eyes.
This is meant to start new conversations about old social issues affecting our world today.
Welcome & Entry
1:00 PM – Venue doors open. Smudging outside. Book and limited edition launch-only merch table opens. Coffee, tea, water, and punch available.
1:15 PM – Main hall doors open for seating. Speeches & Presentation
Presentations begin:
1:20 PM – 1:25 PM – Land Acknowledgement.
1:25 PM – 1:30 PM – Opening remarks by Editor.
1:30 PM – 2:00 PM – Author presentation and reading.
2:00 PM – 2:05 PM – Closing remarks.
Refreshments & Intermission
2:05 PM – 2:20 PM – 15-minute break. Sandwiches, veggies, and desserts are served.
Book Signing & Social Time
2:20 PM – 3:30 PM – Book signing, photos, food, mingling, door prize raffle draws, and limited edition launch-only merch sales.
