La Conner Birding Festival Takes Flight to Celebrate the Rich Avian Diversity of Skagit Valley and La ConnerThe eagerly awaited annual La Conner Birding Festival is poised to grace the skies on January 24th & 25th, 2026, inviting bird enthusiasts to immerse themselves in a weekend of avian wonder. Set against the picturesque backdrop of Skagit Valley and La Conner, this year's festival promises a captivating experience, featuring local artists, educational opportunities, interactive displays, and delightful children's activities.
Inaugurating the La Conner Birding Showcase as part of the Birds of Winter Experience, the festival pays homage to the awe-inspiring annual migration of these majestic creatures. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to witness and learn about a myriad of bird species that call Skagit County home during this season.
We will also have a wonderful array of local artists and their renditions of our fine feathered friends, local businesses and educators sharing their knowledge and offereings.
