This week-long event aims to raise awareness about the importance of clean water in our springs and estuaries.
Come and enjoy a morning filled with fun, learning, and hands-on activities to celebrate Save Our Waters Week!
Activities & Stations
- Fishing Clinic
Learn the basics of fishing and understand how clean water supports healthy fish populations.
- Learn & Discover Stations
Explore educational posters and discover various aquatic species that depend on clean water.
- Craft Stations
- Create sidewalk art with water-saving messages:
- “Don’t Pollute!”
- “Every Drop Counts!”
- Fish-Friendly Art
- Make your own “Save Our Waters” bracelet to take home.
- Water Warriors Scavenger Hunt
Earn a badge by spotting signs of clean and dirty water, nature’s helpers, and simple actions we can all take to protect our water resources.
- Dip Netting Station
Use buckets, magnifiers, and ID sheets to explore what lives in the water and discover a whole new world beneath the surface.
Join us for a great time while learning about the importance of preserving our water resources!
* During this event, it is recommended to bring plenty of water, bug spray, and any necessities you might need. Craft activities are available while supplies last.
