School closures aren't the Transformation we need or asked for! On September 15th MPS unveiled three proposals to close up to 16 schools or programs for next year.
This plan would create more chaos in our school communities, while neither saving money nor addressing the real issues that do exist in our schools.
We are calling on the elected school board to reject the proposed plans and to create a robust recruitment and retention plan to increase enrollment.
