At The Rising Sun, our village means everything to us. Being at the heart of our community isn’t just about serving great food and drinks – it’s about looking after the people who make our village so special.
Our pub is home to the village defibrillator, which is available 24 hours a day for anyone who may need it. This incredible piece of life-saving equipment could make all the difference in an emergency, giving someone the best possible chance while waiting for the ambulance to arrive.
Unfortunately, the defibrillator now needs a new battery and replacement pads, and we need your help to make that happen.
On Friday 31st July from 5:30pm, we’ll be hosting a fun-filled fundraising evening with:
🐎 Horse Racing
🐷 Pig Racing
🎟️ Raffle
💌 Mystery Envelopes
Rather than simply asking for donations, we’d love to give something back to everyone who supports us. Every penny raised will go towards replacing the battery and pads, and you’ll have the chance to win fantastic prizes, take part in the racing, and enjoy a brilliant evening with the community.
Whether you spend £1 or £20, every contribution will help keep this vital life-saving equipment ready for anyone who needs it.
