The Savage Training Co. Community will be hosting a 9/11 Memorial walk/ruck on Friday, September 12th at 6:30 PM ET on the Tweetsie Trail in Johnson City, TN.
We’re walking/rucking 3.43 miles to honor the 343 firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11th, 2001.
If you have a weighted vest, or even emergency personnel gear, you are welcome to wear that!
If you're not physically capable of rucking just yet, please come anyway and join us by walking. Not all will be wearing a ruck sack/weighted vest.
Exact meeting location will be shared here in this event page soon.
PLEASE INVITE YOUR SPOUSE. If you don't have a spouse, invite a few friends!
This will be our 5th event, and I thought it'd be cool for our spouses and friends to see what we're all about, while waking/rucking for a great cause.
We might possibly meet up for supper afterwards as well if there is interest in that.
PLEASE WEAR RED, WHITE, and BLUE! I will be making some STC swag again so be on the lookout for that.
ALSO, carry a flag if you have one and wish to do so!
