We are so excited to have The Wurst Bavarian Band from St. Louis playing! They'll start playing at 6:30pm, get here early for a spot!
***Sausage Competition***
To enter your sausage:
*Bring sausage to brewery between Friday, April 18th through Thursday, April 24th during regular business hours.
*Pick which category you want to enter:
(1) Summer sausage (deer/beef/pork)
(2) Cooked/cold smoked (deer/beef/pork) - new category this year
(2) Flavored/other (sausage with additives like cheese/peppers, smokies, other meats, etc.)
*If your cooked sausage has cheese or additives, it will go in the cooked/cold smoked category.
*Deliver sausage to the brewery with casing removed, sliced into approximately 15 pieces, and in a Ziploc bag with your name and phone number on it. If you'd like to give more than 15 pieces, we will put it out in our "sausage share" on Saturday, April 26th for the public to enjoy.
*Judging is on Friday, April 25th. This will be done by an "expert" panel of judges, and will not be judged by the public.
*Winners will be announced between 1-2pm on April 26th and will be contacted the following week. Prizes awarded to 1st and 2nd place in each category.
***Sausage Share***
Anyone is welcome to bring their sausage and share it with others on Saturday, April 26th. You can never have enough sausage!!
***Birthday Bock Release***
Every year on our anniversary, we make sure to have a fresh batch of this beer. You can think of it as a cross between a pilsner and a bock in that it has a much brighter hop profile than other Bocks, but still uses a ton of German pilsner malt and is higher in alcohol.
We can't thank you enough for the support you gave us these past 9 years. We'd love to have you help us celebrate our anniversary!
