*This workshop is sold out* Come out to the farm to enjoy a 60 min wood-fired sauna + cold plunge session with KINDLED Community Sauna, and follow that up with some light snacks and drinks provided by Friends of Schumacher Farm! KINDLED is born from a dream of leading people toward wellness and toward connection with others. Sauna has the ability to strip us down both mentally and physically. Lighter clothing, fewer screens, more vulnerability, limited status symbols. Facing the heat and overcoming it fosters grit, resilience, and relaxation.
The climate-controlled Center for Rural History will be available to take breaks, enjoy refreshments, get water, and use the bathrooms. Please wear whatever it is you feel comfortable getting sweaty/wet in. Bring a towel and a water bottle. Slip on shoes to wear in/out can also come in handy. Space is limited to 6 participants per 60 minute session; registration is required.
Friday, January 17th. Book your 60 minute session for 5 pm, 6 pm, or 7 pm.
