Help your child foster a passion for STEM Education with hands on fun and interactive experiments at the Museum of Aviation. Here's what's in store for this month's "Egg-citing STEM" (K-2nd), "Egg-celent Engineers" (3rd-5th), and "Aviation Science" (6-8th) Saturday STEM Labs:
Kindergarten: Crack into STEM fun! Kindergarteners will build colorful structures and design parachutes to protect a fragile egg in this hands-on, egg-citing adventure.
1st-2nd: Crack into science! First and second graders will explore the science behind eggs through fun experiments, from investigating the effects of heat to levitating eggs.
3rd-5th: Become an egg-cellent engineer! Students will design and build the perfect hideout for the Easter Bunny using engineering skills and creative problem-solving.
6th-10th: Become an aviation engineer! Students will dive into the world of aviation and learn about the physics behind flight by designing and building their own aircraft and testing it in the Museum of Aviation’s exclusive wind tunnel.
