Saturday Social

Saturday Social is a friendly, monthly drop-in for people who live in, work in or are visiting Shieldfield. It’s a chance to meet others, have a chat, and enjoy free hot drinks and snacks in a relaxed setting — plus a delicious free lunch from Big River Bakery.
Each Saturday Social has something a little extra, from creative activities like printmaking to opportunities to explore our current exhibition. It’s a chance to try something new, enjoy lunch, and spend time in the gallery in a way that feels open and sociable.
Whether you’re coming along to catch up with friends, meet new people or take some time to relax, you’re very welcome. You can stay for twenty minutes or the whole session, whatever suits you.
Babies and children are welcome, but we ask that they are supervised.
