The Buffalo Music Coalition presents Dee’s Grand Isle Opry on Saturday April 18th from 4-7 PM. NO COVER CHARGE!
Led by long time Buffalo singer songwriter Dee Adams, Dee’s Grand Isle Opry was born from a love for classic country songs, and a newfound respect for their more modern interpretations. Drawing from a deep well of country music in America, Canada, and beyond, the band sets out to pay homage to over 70 years of favorites, from Kitty Wells right on up through our own roaring 20s with Ashley McBryde.
The band features Dee on vocals and guitar, Helen Butler-Ceppaglia on fiddle and keys, Paul Ceppaglia on guitars and vocals, Chris Jones on mandolin, banjo, and fiddle, Charlie Gannon on bass, Theodore Chubbuck Jr on drums, and vocalists Michele Ruffino and Maria Sebastian alongside Dee for some of the warmest, fullest three part harmonies you could hope to hear. All the singers take turns at the helm, and the result is a few hours of hand clappin’, toe tappin’, two steppin’ country fun!
