About this Event

A softer start to your Saturday

Join me for a calm and welcoming Saturday morning Yin Yoga class in Southsea. This weekly class is designed to help you slow down, release tension and give your body and mind a little space before the weekend begins.

Yin Yoga is a gentle, practice where we hold simple shapes for a little longer, usually around two minutes, allowing the body time to soften and settle. We use a combination of standing and floor poses.

  • You don’t need to be flexible.
  • You don’t need to have done yoga before.
  • You don’t need to know the poses.
  • You just need to bring yourself, a yoga mat and a willingness to slow down.

What to expect

This is a gentle, steady class with clear guidance throughout.

We move slowly, with time to get into each shape safely and comfortably. The focus is not on pushing, stretching as far as possible or trying to look a certain way. The focus is on listening to your body.

You’ll be guided through a series of Yin Yoga poses that may support:

Gentle flexibility
Joint mobility
Reduced physical tension
A calmer nervous system
Better body awareness
Time to pause and reset

Many people come to Yin Yoga because they feel stiff, tired, stressed, busy or disconnected from their body. This class offers a quiet space to breathe, stretch and rest without pressure.
